Speech of the Academy’s Strategic Adviser at the international forum in Brussels
On October 25, 2021, the Academy’s Strategic Adviser spoke in Brussels at the international forum “Emerging High-Tech Cyber & Hybrid Threats: Building Europe at Peace & Harmony.” Being invited by the Embassy of Ukraine to the Kingdom of Belgium and to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Professor Marushchak announced the results of his own research on the development of the system of countering disinformation in Ukraine. A fruitful discussion with representatives of The Support Group for Ukraine, European Commission, The European Centre of Excellence for Countering Hybrid Threats, European Union Institute for Security Studies and other experts demonstrated the importance of cooperation between academia and government agencies in Ukraine and the EU in order to counter hybrid aggression.
