A New Expert in AI and Disinformation Joins Our Team

We are delighted to welcome Angelika Sharygina to our team as an expert in artificial intelligence, information security, and the fight against disinformation.

Angelika is a PhD researcher at Trinity College Dublin, a political advisor, and the founder of an award-winning startup recognized by Techstars Dublin. Her expertise focuses on detecting and countering fake news, harmful content, and radicalized online groups, while promoting ethical and responsible AI use.

With hands-on experience in conflict-affected regions such as Afghanistan, Ukraine, Lebanon, Nigeria, and Turkey, Angelika leads initiatives that support digital literacy and protect vulnerable communities. She has spoken at the United Nations, TEDx, and UNESCO, and has been named one of “133 Women Who Change the World.”
