Academy’s participation in Data Privacy Day 2021

Data privacy involves more than just compliance. A successful privacy program needs to be embedded into the foundation of all organizations. When done correctly, privacy program will benefit customers, employees and overall business. During the Data Privacy Day 2021 a holistic look at privacy and a culture of privacy into each organization was taken.

U.S. Senator Marsha Blackburn and LinkedIn’s Head of Privacy, Kalinda Raina, discussed the SAFE DATA Act and importance of addressing data privacy through public/private partnerships.

The Identity Theft Resource Center (ITRC) presented findings of the newly released 2020 Data Breach Report, sharing the top 2020 data breach trends and the convergence of security, privacy, and identity policies.
