The Academy research fellow took part in the discussion within the XII Forum “Ukraine-Poland”: “Skeletons in the closet: countering misinformation – the experience of Poland, Ukraine and other European countries”
How do external information attacks affect Ukraine’s and Poland’s relations, the region and the EU’s relations with its neighbors? The examples of events and topics that became the fuel for information attacks that confirm foreign intervention were discussed. How do these actions affect the relations between the countries of our region and the relations between the European Union and its neighbors? Are we doomed to reactivity or can we be active? The best practices for monitoring, capture and early response, and institutional and legal solutions that support the fight against disinformation were analyzed. The experience of Ukrainian and Polish colleagues is important benchmark for enhancing national security.
