The U.S.-Ukraine Foundation’s continuing conference series Ukraine in Washington was attended by the Academy’s representative. “Ukraine in Washington and beyond” brought together key policymakers and experts from both the U.S. and Ukraine to enhance the strategic partnership between two countries. A three-day event was based on discussion of the current state of the U.S.-Ukraine strategic partnership and opportunities for advancing business and other prospects. Insights from high-level U.S. (Ambassador Philip Thomas Reeker – United States Acting Assistant Secretary of State at the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs, John E. Herbst – Director of the Eurasia Center of the Atlantic Council, Nadia K. McConnell – President of the U.S.-Ukraine Foundation and others) and Ukrainian government officials (H.E. Ambassador Oksana Markarova – Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States, Olha Stefanishyna – Deputy Prime Minister For European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine, Oleksandr Romanishyn – Deputy Minister of Economic Development, Trade, and Agriculture of Ukraine, Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze – Verkhovna Rada Member and others) and leading experts explored the current security environment and emerging business opportunities in Ukraine.
Ukraine was emphasized as one of the most perspective competitors in the global IT & tech industry, the innovative IT & tech industry growth in Ukraine was discussed.
