February 25th , 2021, the Academy’s expert took part in the first Ukrainian-American summit on the practical application of cybersecurity standards in IT companies

The summit was held under the auspices of Kyiv chapter of ISACA and the American company Digital Edge.

In particular, participants discussed how US law regulates certification and compliance by US business companies with governmentally approved cybersecurity standards. Problem areas and solutions for the IT business, both in the United States and in Ukraine, aspects of an audit of the computer systems and networks` security were identified. The summit participants exchanged experience in the field of computer network security audit.

In addition, the participants discussed ways of practical application of cybersecurity standards adopted in both Europe and the United States (ISO 27000, NIST, etc.) in business entities of both countries.
