American University Washington College of Law on Nov 16 2020 held Webinars “Power and Impact of International Education” and “International Education at Crossroads” within of the International and Comparative Legal Studies .

International education has long been central to the mission of American University. Today, international education is under strain that has only been exacerbated by the pande4mic. Challenges include costs, increasing competition from universities worldwide, and evolving immigration rules. IIA expert joined distinguished panelists with decades of experience in international education in discussion of the past, present and future of international education.

Panelists included: Dr. Fanta Aw, Vice President of Campus Life & Inclusive Excellence at American University; Senem Bakar, Director of International Student & Scholars Services at American University; Esther Benjamin, CEO & Executive Director of World Education Services; Dr. Allan Goodman, President of the Institute of International Education and others.
