Expert of the Academy participates in First Steering Committee of the EU-CoE CyberEast project in the Eastern Partnership Region
The European Commission and the Cybercrime Programme Office of the Council of Europe (C-PROC), within the framework of the “CyberEast: Action on Cybercrime for Cyber Resilience in the Eastern Partnership Region” project, are organising the first Steering Committee of the project in Kyiv, Ukraine. The event will take place from Thursday, 13 February 2020 to Friday, 14 February 2020 at President Hotel, Hospitalna St. 12.
The European Commission’s Directorate-General for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations (DG NEAR) and the C-PROC (Bucharest, Romania) will host 65 participants, most of them from the 6 countries of the Eastern Partnership region (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine), in order to ensure proper planning, implementation and monitoring of the CyberEast project. The discussions will focus on the project strategy and adoption of the workplan of activities designed to increase the capacities on cyber-resilience, criminal justice and electronic evidence of the Eastern Partnership countries, to better address cybercrime
